This hex socket set screw features a #8-32 UNC (Unified National Coarse) thread pitch. Engineered with a cup point tip, it bites into control shaft surfaces to provide a slip-resistant lock that prevents knobs from spinning freely during operation.

The screw installs into threaded brass inserts or molded collars on vintage radio control knobs. It provides replacement hardware for tabletop receivers and console radio units manufactured during the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s by companies such as Philco, Zenith, RCA Victor, and Crosley. Available  in two lengths; 1/4" and 5/16". Package of 4 screws.

  • Length: 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) and 5/16 inch (7.9 mm)

  • Drive Style: Hex socket (allen drive)

  • Point Style: Cup point for anti-slip grip on control shafts

  • Radio Application: Secures control knobs to 1/4" control shafts on 1930s–1950s table and console radios (including Philco, Zenith, RCA Victor, and Crosley models)

  • Package Quantity: Sold 4 to a package
