Order Processing & Timelines
Merry Tunes Antique Radios and Parts is committed to reliable service and careful handling to ensure orders arrive safely. Customers are responsible for selecting the correct shipping option for their destination at checkout. Selecting an incorrect option (such as choosing local pickup for an international order) may result in order cancellation and a refund.
In-Stock Items: Orders containing in-stock items are typically processed and shipped within 1 to 2 business days.
Backorders: If an item is backordered, we will notify you promptly and ship it as soon as it becomes available.
Hand-Manufactured Items: Items requiring hand-production—such as braid cone and horn wires or dial pointers—generally require 5 to 7 days for manufacturing, depending on current order and repair volume.
Tracking information is provided via email as soon as your order ships.
Local Pick-Up
Local pick-up is available by appointment at our workshop located at #20-141 Whitney Pl., Kitchener, ON N2G 2X8 (Globe Studios).
Appointments must be arranged in advance.
Please note that this location is an operating repair workshop rather than a retail storefront, and same-day in-person purchasing is unavailable.
Canada
Carriers: Orders are shipped via Stallion where available; otherwise, Canada Post is used. All shipments include tracking and carrier insurance.
Delivery Timelines: Parcels typically arrive within 3 to 7 business days, depending on proximity to urban centers.
United States
Carriers & Timelines: Standard ground shipments to the United States are sent via Canada Post and typically arrive within 10 to 14 days. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed once a package leaves Canada, as customs processing is outside our control.
Tariffs & Duties: Applicable tariffs are factored into product pricing and shipping charges at checkout and are remitted directly by Merry Tunes at the time of shipment. Ordinarily, recipients in the United States will not incur any additional tariff charges upon delivery.
International Destinations
Carriers & Methods: Orders outside Canada and the United States are shipped via Canada Post. While untracked shipping offers an economical choice, we recommend selecting a tracked service for added security. Because Canada Post maintains postal agreements with international postal operators worldwide, your order will be handled and delivered in line with standard international mail service standards.
Delivery Timelines: International transit times depend on the efficiency of the destination country’s domestic postal service.
