This electrical insulation tubing is manufactured from braided fiberglass. It features an initial inner diameter of 1/8 inch and can expand up to 5/32 inches to fit over slightly oversized solder joints, splices, or wire terminals.

The braided sleeving provides heat-resistant electrical insulation for bare wire leads, power transformer taps, choke connections, and component leads under mid-century tube radio chassis. It corresponds with original wiring standards used in vintage electronics from manufacturers such as Philco, Zenith, RCA Victor, and Admiral. Comes in two colours: blcak and yellow. Sold by the foot.
