This is an offset bent-shaft slide-rule dial pointer (part #0193). It features a flat rectangular drive-mounting base with a two-section shaft containing a 1/2-inch bent offset step to clear raised glass or cabinet bezels while tracking along the slide-rule scale. This style was designed for complex chassis layouts and multi-layered dial assemblies in 1930s through 1950s console and tabletop tube radios manufactured by companies like Philco, Zenith, RCA Victor, General Electric, and Crosley.
