This is a 180-degree straight-inline parallel mount dial pointer (part #0190). It features a flat cord/track mounting base that extends straight out along the same axis (180 degrees) into a parallel mounting bracket to position the indicator needle along the tuning track. This style was designed for deep-chassis slide-rule mechanisms and back-lit dial glass assemblies in 1930s through 1950s tube radios manufactured by companies such as Philco, Zenith, RCA Victor, General Electric, and Crosley.
