7F7 Vacuum Tube New and Used

- Description
- Specifications
The 7F7 is a high-mu twin triode vacuum tube designed for resistance-coupled audio amplifier stages, phase inverters, and voltage driver circuits in radio receivers and audio equipment. Electrically similar in characteristics to the 6SL7GT octal tube and 12AX7 miniature tube, it features a 6.3V filament rating and an 8-pin lock-in (loctal) base in a glass envelope construction. Manufactured by companies including Sylvania, Philco, RCA, and GE, this tube was widely used in mid-century Philco and Zenith radio chassis, high-gain audio preamplifiers, and electronic test equipment requiring dual high-gain triode sections.
