The 7AU7 is a miniature medium-mu twin triode vacuum tube designed for phase inverter, driver, and general-purpose amplifier applications in television receivers and audio equipment. Electrically equivalent to the 12AU7/12AU7A except for its controlled heater ratings, it features a 7.0V/3.5V series-parallel filament design specifically suited for 600mA series-string heater circuits. Units are available in both new old stock (NOS) and tested used conditions. Manufactured by companies including Sylvania, GE, and Westinghouse, these tubes feature a 9-pin miniature base construction. Used for servicing vintage radio chassis, TV receivers, and audio amplifier circuits.
