The 75 is a classic 6-pin UX-base duplex-diode high-mu triode vacuum tube introduced in the early 1930s for superheterodyne radio receivers. It integrates two signal diodes for detection and automatic volume control (AVC) with a high-mu triode section for audio preamplification in a single envelope. Designed with an ST-12 shoulder glass envelope and a top cap for control grid isolation, it operates on a 6.3V heater. The 75 is the 6-pin predecessor to octal types like the 6B6G and 6Q7. Available NOS and tested used.
