The 6HZ6 is a 7-pin miniature dual-control heptode vacuum tube designed primarily for use as a gated-beam FM detector, limiter, and noise suppressor in television receivers and FM radios. Featuring two independent control grids with sharp-cutoff characteristics, it allows effective signal limiting and quadrature detection in sound circuits. It operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 7-pin miniature sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
