The 6HQ5 is a 7-pin miniature high-mu triode vacuum tube designed primarily for use as a grounded-grid VHF radio frequency amplifier in television tuners and FM receivers. Engineered to deliver high transconductance with low equivalent noise, it provides excellent gain and low-noise performance in high-frequency front-end stages. It operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 7-pin miniature sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
