The 6CU6 (electrically and structurally equivalent to the 6CD6G/6CD6GA) is an octal-base beam power tetrode designed primarily for horizontal deflection output and damper service in vacuum tube television receivers. Featuring high peak current capabilities and high plate dissipation ratings, it is also popular among amateur radio operators for use in RF linear amplifiers and transmitter output stages. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 8-pin octal sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
