6C5 Vacuum Tube New and Used

- Description
- Specifications
The 6C5 (along with its glass variants 6C5G and 6C5GT) is an octal-base medium-mu single triode introduced by RCA in the mid-1930s. Designed for general-purpose voltage amplifier, detector, and oscillator applications in broadcast radio receivers and early audio equipment, it offers stable performance and reliable gain. Functionally similar to a single section of a 6SN7GT or 12AU7, its metal envelope provides inherent electrostatic shielding without requiring external shield cans. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 8-pin octal sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
