The 6BW8 is a 9-pin miniature multi-unit tube combining two independent diodes and a sharp-cutoff pentode within a single glass envelope. Designed primarily for television receiver circuits, the diode sections commonly serve as horizontal phase detectors, video detectors, or AGC clamp circuits. The pentode section is utilized as a sound IF amplifier, AGC keyer, or video signal processor. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 9-pin noval sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
