The 6BQ7A (and its predecessor 6BQ7) is a 9-pin miniature medium-mu twin triode engineered specifically for low-noise VHF tuner and cascode RF amplifier service in television and FM receivers. Featuring an internal shield between the triode units, it offers high transconductance, low interelectrode capacitance, and minimal noise figure at high frequencies. It is also widely used in high-frequency oscillator stages and modern low-noise audio driver circuits. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 9-pin noval sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
