The 6BQ5 is a popular 9-pin miniature audio power pentode developed for output stages in high-fidelity audio amplifiers, radio receivers, and musical instrument amplifiers. Introduced in Europe as the EL84, it features high power sensitivity and high efficiency, delivering rich, dynamic audio output in single-ended or push-pull configurations at moderate plate voltages. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 9-pin noval sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
