The 6AX4GT (and its enhanced 6AX4GTA/GTB variants) is an octal-base high-perveance half-wave diode designed for damper service in horizontal deflection circuits of television receivers. Built to withstand extremely high pulse plate voltages and peak currents, it features heavy heater-to-cathode insulation to prevent breakdown during high-voltage pulses. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 8-pin octal sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
