5AS8 Vacuum Tube New and Used

- Description
- Specifications
The 5AS8 is a 9-pin miniature compound tube housing a high-mu triode and a sharp-cutoff pentode within a single envelope. Engineered for high-frequency applications, it was designed for video amplifier, sound IF, and automatic gain control (AGC) keyer service in television receivers and radio front-ends. Operating on a 4.7V/600mA series heater, it provided high gain efficiency in series-filament chassis produced by manufacturers like RCA Victor, Zenith, Philco, and Admiral. Available in NOS and tested used conditions.
