The 4BZ6 is a 7-pin miniature semi-remote cutoff pentode designed for automatic gain control (AGC) in RF and IF amplifier stages of radio and TV receivers. Operating on a 4.2V/450mA series heater, it offers high transconductance and stable gain reduction to handle varying signal strengths. It was commonly used in mid-century RCA Victor, Zenith, and Motorola tuner circuits. Available in NOS and tested used conditions.
