The 3BU8 is a 9-pin miniature sharp-cutoff twin pentode vacuum tube featuring a shared cathode, control grid (Grid No. 1), and screen grid (Grid No. 2) with independent plates and suppressor grids. Designed primarily for specialized RF/IF processing, noise-gating, and signal-clipping stages in radio receivers and communication circuits, it includes a 3.15V heater rating with a controlled warm-up time for series-filament strings. Available in new old stock (NOS) and tested used conditions.
