The 3BA6 is a 7-pin miniature remote-cutoff pentode designed for RF and IF amplifier service in series-heater television and FM radio receivers. Featuring a 3.15-volt, 0.6-ampere heater with a controlled warm-up time, it provides identical internal characteristics to the standard 6BA6, allowing effective automatic gain control (AGC) without causing signal distortion.
