The Type 19 is a 6-pin high-mu twin-triode tube designed for Class B audio output service in vintage 2-volt battery-operated radio receivers. Manufactured by RCA, Sylvania, GE, and Philco during the 1930s using ST-12 glass envelopes, it combines two triode units in a single bulb to supply approximately 2 watts of audio output. It is the 6-pin predecessor to the later octal-based 1J6.
