14J7 Vacuum Tube New and Used

- Description
- Specifications
The 14J7 is an 8-pin lock-in base (Loktal) sharp-cutoff pentode designed for radio frequency (RF) and intermediate frequency (IF) amplifier service in vintage radio receivers. It features an indirectly heated cathode operating on a 12.6V / 14.0V heater supply. Sylvania, RCA, GE, and Philco manufactured the 14J7 to RETMA specifications using T-9 glass envelopes. It is functionally identical to the 7J7 oscillator-mixer application family and related Loktal RF pentodes, differing primarily in heater voltage rating and internal grid characteristics.
