14E6 Vacuum Tube New and Used

- Description
- Specifications
The 14E6 is an 8-pin lock-in base (Loktal) multi-unit tube containing two diode units and one medium-mu triode unit. Designed for AM radio receiver applications, it performs automatic volume control (AVC), detection, and audio frequency voltage amplification in a single envelope. It features an indirectly heated cathode operating on a 12.6V / 14.0V heater supply. Sylvania, RCA, GE, and Philco manufactured the 14E6 to RETMA specifications using T-9 glass envelopes. It is electrically identical to the 7E6, differing only in its heater voltage rating.
