The 12SC7 is a metal double high-mu triode vacuum tube with a common cathode, designed for use as a high-gain audio amplifier or phase inverter in radio receivers and series heater-string circuits. Available in new old stock (NOS) and tested used conditions, it features an 8-pin Octal base layout and a 12.6V heater rating.
