The 12K8 is a metal triode-hexode converter vacuum tube designed for use as a superheterodyne frequency changer/mixer in radio receivers and series heater-string circuits. Available in new old stock (NOS) and tested used conditions, it features an 8-pin Octal base layout and a 12.6V heater rating.
