The 12BY7 (also known as 12BY7A) is a high-transconductance pentode vacuum tube housed in a miniature 9-pin glass envelope. Utilizing a 12.6-volt heater string drawing 450mA, it is engineered for wide-band video amplifier stages in television receivers, cathode-ray tube (CRT) display driver circuits, and RF/IF driver stages in vintage transmitters and communications equipment. Available in new and used condition.
