The 12AX7 (also designated as ECC83) is a miniature high-gain dual triode vacuum tube featuring two independent triode sections within a 9-pin glass envelope. Utilizing a dual-voltage 6.3V/12.6V heater string drawing 300mA or 150mA, it is engineered for voltage amplification and signal preamplification stages in vintage radio receiver chassis, hi-fi audio preamplifiers, and classic instrument amplifiers. Available in new and used condition.
