The 6L6 is an iconic 8-pin octal beam power tetrode introduced by RCA in 1936. Designed for high-efficiency audio power amplification and RF transmitter service, it utilizes internal beam-forming plates to minimize distortion and maximize output power. Featuring a durable metal envelope for built-in shielding, it operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 8-pin octal sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
