The 6K5G is an 8-pin octal high-mu single triode vacuum tube designed primarily for high-gain audio voltage amplification and detector circuit applications in vintage radio receivers. Featuring a shoulder-style ST glass envelope and a top grid cap for improved input grid isolation and low stray capacitance, it functions as a single-triode section comparable to half of a 6SL7GT. It operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 8-pin octal sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
