The 6GY6 is a 7-pin miniature dual-control heptode vacuum tube engineered primarily for use as a gated-beam limiter, FM detector, and chrominance burst keyer in color television receivers. Featuring dual independent control grids with sharp-cutoff characteristics, it allows precise switching, gating, and signal limiting operations. It operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 7-pin miniature sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
