The 6GX6 is a 7-pin miniature dual-control heptode vacuum tube designed primarily for use as an FM sound detector and limiter stage in television receivers. Engineered with sharp-cutoff characteristics on both its control grid and suppressor grid, it allows efficient gated-beam quadrature detection and signal limiting. It operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 7-pin miniature sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
