- Specifications
The 6EJ7 (also known as the EF184) is a high-transconductance, frame-grid remote-cutoff pentode designed for intermediate frequency (IF) and radio frequency (RF) amplifier stages in television receivers and communications equipment. Its precision frame-grid construction and variable-mu characteristic allow high gain alongside smooth Automatic Gain Control (AGC) performance. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 9-pin noval sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
