- Description
- Specifications
The 6E7 is a metal-enclosed variable-mu (remote-cutoff) pentode introduced in the 1930s for superheterodyne radio receivers. Featuring a top control grid cap for minimal interelectrode capacitance and enhanced shielding, it was designed specifically for combined detector and intermediate frequency (IF) or audio amplifier service. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 8-pin octal sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
