The 6BV8 is a 9-pin miniature multi-unit tube combining two independent diodes and a medium-mu triode within a single glass envelope. Designed primarily for television receiver applications, the diode sections are commonly used for automatic gain control (AGC) keying, video detection, or horizontal phase detector circuits. The triode section serves as a video sync separator, sync clipper, or low-frequency voltage amplifier. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 9-pin noval sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
