6AV6 Vacuum Tube New and Used

- Description
- Specifications
The 6AV6 is a 7-pin miniature multi-unit tube combining two diodes and a high-mu triode in a single glass envelope. Widely used in post-war AM and FM radio receivers, the diode sections perform detection and AGC voltage generation, while the triode section serves as the first audio voltage amplifier. Featuring a higher triode amplification factor (mu = 100) than the 6AT6, it serves as the miniature counterpart to the octal 6SL7-family preamps and 6SQ7 detectors. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 7-pin miniature sockets. European equivalent is EBC91. Available NOS and tested used.
