The 6AU4GT is an octal-base high-perveance half-wave diode designed for damper service in horizontal deflection circuits of television receivers. Built to withstand high peak inverse voltages and heavy peak currents, it features high heater-to-cathode insulation to handle high pulse voltages. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 8-pin octal sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
