The 6AS5 is a 7-pin miniature power output pentode designed for audio output stages in compact AC/DC radios, phonographs, and television sound systems. Developed as a miniature equivalent to octal beam power tubes like the 6G6G, it delivers low-distortion audio output with modest plate voltage requirements. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 7-pin miniature sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
