The 6AM8 is a 9-pin miniature multi-unit tube containing a high-mu triode, a power diode, and a sharp-cutoff pentode in a single glass envelope. Designed primarily for television receiver applications, it functions as an IF amplifier, video detector, and sound IF or sync separator stage. Operates on a 6.3V heater and fits standard 9-pin noval sockets. Available NOS and tested used.
