The 6AG7 is an octal metal power pentode engineered for high-transconductance video power output service in television receivers and wideband power amplifiers. It features high power sensitivity and high plate dissipation, making it popular as an RF driver and power amplifier in vintage amateur radio transmitters. Operates on a 6.3V heater with Pin 1 grounding the metal shell to the chassis for shielding. Available NOS and tested used.
