The 6AG5 is a 7-pin miniature sharp-cutoff pentode designed for RF and IF amplifiers operating up to 400 MHz in VHF TV tuners, FM receivers, and radar equipment. It features dual cathode pins to reduce input loading and signal loss at high frequencies. Runs on a 6.3V heater. European designation is EF96. Available NOS and tested used.
