The 5GS7 is a 9-pin miniature sharp-cutoff frame-grid pentode designed for intermediate-frequency (IF) amplifier service in television receivers and radio front-ends. Operating on a 4.7V/600mA controlled warm-up series heater, its high transconductance delivers substantial stage gain at high frequencies. It was featured in series-string chassis designs manufactured by RCA Victor, Zenith, Philco, and Admiral. Available in NOS and tested used conditions.
