The 50C5 is a 7-pin miniature beam power amplifier designed for audio output stages in transformerless "All-American Five" (AA5) tabletop radios and compact phonographs. Operating on a 50V heater rated at 150mA for series-filament strings, it delivers up to 1.5 watts of audio power output at low plate voltages. It was used extensively in mid-century receivers produced by Zenith, RCA Victor, Philco, Admiral, and Emerson. Available in NOS and tested used conditions.
