The 4CS6 is a 7-pin miniature dual-control heptode designed for frequency converter, noise-gated sync separator, and mixer circuits in radio and TV receivers. Operating on a 4.2V/450mA series heater, its dual control grids allow precise signal gating and conversion efficiency. It was regularly used in 1950s Zenith, Admiral, and Motorola receivers for stable local oscillator and mixer performance. Available in NOS and tested used conditions.
