The Type 46 is a 5-pin dual-grid power amplifier tube designed for class B audio output and driver stages in home radio receivers. Featuring a direct-heated 2.5V filament, its unique twin-grid structure allows it to function as a high-mu triode (with grids connected together) for Class B push-pull output service, or as a low-mu driver triode (with grid 2 connected to the plate). Available in new old stock (NOS) and tested used conditions.
