The 3BE6 is a 7-pin miniature pentagrid converter vacuum tube designed specifically for frequency converter and mixer-oscillator service in superheterodyne AM and shortwave radio receivers. Featuring a 3.15V heater rating with controlled warm-up time for series-filament radio circuits, it combines local oscillator and mixer functions into a single stage to convert incoming RF signals to IF frequencies. Available in new old stock (NOS) and tested used conditions.
