The 3AU6 is a 7-pin miniature sharp-cutoff pentode designed for RF and IF amplifier service in series-heater television and FM radio receivers. Incorporating a controlled heater warm-up characteristic, its 3.15-volt, 0.6-ampere heater delivers identical electrical performance to the standard 6AU6 when integrated into 600 mA series-string circuits.
