The 19AU4GT is an 8-pin octal half-wave vacuum rectifier designed for television horizontal deflection damper service and power supply rectification. It features an indirectly heated cathode operating on a 19.0V / 600mA series-string heater circuit. RCA, Sylvania, GE, and Westinghouse manufactured the 19AU4GT using GT-style glass envelopes. It is functionally identical to the 12AU4 and 17AU4 series, differing only in its higher heater voltage rating for series-string designs.
