The 17DQ6A is an 8-pin octal beam power pentode designed for horizontal deflection amplifier service in television receivers. It features a top plate cap for high-voltage isolation and operates on a 16.8V / 450mA series-string heater circuit. RCA, Sylvania, GE, and Westinghouse manufactured the 17DQ6A using T-12 glass envelopes. It is functionally identical to the 6DQ6A, differing only in its heater voltage and current ratings.
