The 14C5 is an 8-pin lock-in base (Loktal) beam power amplifier tube designed for audio output service in vintage radio receivers and audio amplifiers. It operates with an indirectly heated cathode rated for a 12.6V / 14.0V heater supply. Sylvania, RCA, GE, and Philco manufactured the 14C5 to RETMA specifications using T-9 glass envelopes. It is electrically identical to the 7C5, differing only in its heater voltage rating.
