The 14B6 is an 8-pin lock-in base (Loktal) duo-diode high-mu triode designed for combined detector, automatic volume control (AVC), and audio voltage amplifier service in vintage radio receivers. It features an indirectly heated cathode operating on a 12.6V / 14.0V heater supply. Sylvania, RCA, GE, and Philco manufactured the 14B6 to RETMA specifications using T-9 glass envelopes. It is functionally identical to the 7B6, differing only in heater voltage rating.
